Takin' out the trash

For this project brief we have been tasked to come up with a solution to the waste management problem in this area of South Korea. The main issue is that, when walking along the streets of Gyeongsan you rarely encounter a bin, or anywhere to discard of any waste you have.

A regular sight in the downtown districts is such areas - individuals and local businesses placing there trash, be it a small or large amount, in places in the street which have become designated sites for refuse.

Observation; The areas where waste builds up tends to be around things such as lamp posts and benches; a sort of marking point which then has a knock on effect to where passers by tend to discard their waste.
